Sun T4-1 and T2/Linux
The Sun T4 are fourth generation Sun Niagara "Cool Threads" hyper
threaded high end, "cloud" optimized 64-bit UltraSPARC servers that
delivered world record performance on a highly scalable, secure and
integrated platform optimized for enterprise software. As first
out-of-order SPARC CPU, it came with an 5x improvement in
single-thread performance.
As other high-end servers, the T4 based UltraSPARC systems come
with a hypervisor firmware and can be partitionized.
