Embedded hardware known to be supported by T2/Linux

An embedded system is a special-purpose computer system designed to perform a dedicated function - often the system is completely hidden from the user. Since the system is dedicated to specific tasks, design engineers can optimize it, reducing the size and cost of the product.

Physically, embedded systems range from portable devices such as digital watches portable media (audio, video) players, mobile phones, PDAs to large stationary installations like traffic lights, factory controllers.

The T2 SDE can be used to create rather minimal systems with just 2 MB of ROM and RAM, to more complex systems with graphical user interface.
