11:32 < Baldzius> moin
11:32 < rxr> moin
11:35 < Baldzius> hey rxr
11:38 < Baldzius> rxr: I will delete clanlib06 and pingus
11:45 < rxr> :-(
11:46 < rxr> you already deleted my all-weekend-shocker senken and squaroid, what should I do the next year's weekends then
11:46 < rxr> ???
11:47 < CIA-32> rene * r36371 /trunk/package/base/linux26/linux26.desc: * updated linux26 (2.6.33.3 -> 2.6.33.4)
11:48 < rxr> pingus was updated since T2 7.0
11:48 < rxr> 18. Mar 2010
11:48 < rxr> Pingus 0.7.3 is released, nothing new in terms of gameplay, just some fixes to make it work with newer incarnations of GCC.
11:50 < rxr> but feel free to wipe the old clanlib version, hope the new pingus doesn't need it
11:59 < rxr> I hope you noticed the weekend gaming was a joke :-)
11:59 < rxr> have you from-scratch tested the libffi change?
12:09 < Baldzius> yes
12:09 < Baldzius> :)
12:09 < Baldzius> sorry wasn't reading, busy working here :)
12:10 < Baldzius> that clanlib06 is painful
12:10 < Baldzius> waste of resources
12:10 < Baldzius> so pingus will have to go too :?
12:10 < Baldzius> :/
12:10 < rxr> is it clanlib06 based?
12:10 < Baldzius> yes
12:10 < rxr> tried to update right now, but it looks like python glibberish
12:11 < rxr> yeah, whaver, I have enough to do, just wipe it
12:11 < rxr> BUT NOT EVERYTHING, I WANT HAVE SOME PACKAGES LEFT
12:11 < Baldzius> any problem with libffi?
12:11 < Baldzius> that's 2 left :)
12:11 < rxr> yeah, hope I can add new ones as fast s you delete aging ones
12:12 < rxr> my reference64 builder did not wanted to continue building
12:12 < rxr> I wiped it, started from scratch, will see how it goes
12:12 < rxr> did you update mtd-tools? looks like it installs into /usr/local?
12:12 < Baldzius> hm
12:13 < rxr> Found files in /usr/local:
12:13 < rxr> /usr/local/usr
12:13 < rxr> /usr/local/usr/sbin
12:13 < rxr> I can take a look
12:13 < Baldzius> yes
12:14 < rxr> DESTDIR ?= /usr/local
12:14 < rxr> how even
12:14 < rxr> they are so insaenly stupid
12:14 < Baldzius> that's because I don't have paranoia checks enabled
12:14 < rxr> I wonder how even MTD embedded people can write such crap in their Makefile
12:14 < Baldzius> I hate shared file errors
12:14 < rxr> I love shaered files errors
12:15 < Baldzius> my build then goes in snail pace
12:15 < Baldzius> it already stops on every error
12:15 < Baldzius> shared file errors is too much for me :)
12:15 < Baldzius> I can't stand it
12:16 < rxr> well, I do it differntly, with parnoia checks, but not stop on error
12:16 < rxr> so my build goes thru quickly, and I have some residual fallout to fix
12:16 < rxr> I find that pretty convienient
12:16 < rxr> but, we had this already, and I think you going thru another way only helps
12:16 < rxr> shakes out differnt bugs
12:17 < Baldzius> yep
12:17 < rxr> and of course when yours stop on every error your motivation is higher to delete obolete crap
12:17 < Baldzius> yep :)
12:17 < rxr> whlie I also love the google pagerank due listing insanely old crap on our page:-)
12:17 < rxr> http://www.t2-project.org/packages/
12:17 < Baldzius> my pkgsel is already with 200 packages :/
12:17 < Baldzius> whether usually it was around 150
12:18 < Baldzius> btw, could you take a look at fortran for 64 bits build?
12:18 < Baldzius> packages like monotone and r fail
12:18 < Baldzius> before they were fine
12:19 < rxr> fortran? that is as high on my TODO list as Java related dung
12:19 < rxr> monotone needs fortran?
12:19 < Baldzius> I think
12:19 < rxr> I doubt
12:20 < rxr> maybe it's configure is just stupid and fails when fortran does not work although the package does not need it
12:20 < rxr> it's insane that about every configure script checks for fortran when it's never needed
12:20 < rxr> I can count the few numeric packages that actually do use fortran with my hands, ...
12:20 < Baldzius> that might be the case
12:21 < rxr> btw. given your libffi split works (I still cross my fingers) factoring out gortran, java, ada, and heck, even g++ out of he massive gcc packages would be awesome
12:21 < rxr> as would be packaging icedtea and chromium
12:24 < CIA-32> rene * r36372 /trunk/package/filesystem/mtd-tools/mtd-tools.conf: * fixed mtd-tools not to install into /usr/local, honor the $prefix

14:54 < rxr> Adobe is ranting way more these days
