15:57 < SnortSafe> MySql has an internal database for such things as owner uid password etc. it keeps tracks of all databases that are created, but it has to be running for the owner of the machine to enter a uid and password, then the owner can use files in the /mysql/bin directory to create new databases such as the one for snort
