09:35 < rxr> re
09:35 < rxr> hi mtr
09:35 < rxr> mtr: in which package do you get libxul-nss.pc ?
09:38 < mtr> hi rxr
09:38 < mtr> in none :(
09:39 < rxr> but openoffice-org checks for it ?
09:39 < rxr> I made a symlink to mozilla-nss.pc or so for testing - builds so far
09:39 < mtr> afair in xulrunner 1.9.x the naming changed from libxul-nss.pc to mozilla-nss.pc
09:39 < rxr> what did you do to get openoffice-org
09:39 < rxr> aha
09:40 < rxr> I saw in some debian / ubuntu bug trackers that they apparently just added a symlink to the former name
09:41 < mtr> my OOo build uses plain nss/nspr packages
09:41 < mtr> The variable NSPR_LIB is set to: -L/usr/lib/nspr
09:41 < mtr> The variable NSS_LIB is set to: -L/usr/lib/nss
09:41 < mtr> and xpcom from xulrunner:
09:42 < mtr> The variable MOZ_LIB_XPCOM is set to: -L/opt/mozilla.org/lib/xulrunner-devel-1.9.0.1/lib ....
09:43 < mtr> OOo 2.4.1 had certain problems detectin nss and nspr using pkgconfig, but 3.0.0 works
09:43 < rxr> it did not for me without the symlink to libxul-nss.pc
09:44 < mtr> possibly also a 64 bit issue, $libdir path?
09:44 < rxr> that was i386
09:44 < rxr> on x86-64 I have additional problems :-(
09:44 < mtr> hmm ,ok
09:45 < rxr> so a from scratch trunk:HEAD builds ooo without additinoal -nss hackery on your side ?
09:47 < mtr> yes, no local diffs in OOo $confdir
10:03 < mtr> I have one uncommited change in nspr.conf, fixing a typo in the nspr.pc.in sed expression:
10:04 < mtr> NSPR_VERSION should read NSPR_VER

10:07 < CIA-24> mtr * r31562 /trunk/package/develop/nspr/nspr.conf: * fix a typo in nspr pkgconfig file for $ver substition
10:15 < mtr> rxr: can you check your ooo config.log for nspr pkgconfig result? maybe ooo has a nspr version check which failed
10:15 < rxr> I now have the symlink in my test build
10:15 < rxr> I'll try in a complete clean build from scratch later
10:29 < CIA-24> rene * r31563 /trunk/package/network/bridge-utils/rocknet_bridge.sh: * implemented multiple interface support in the netconf bridge module

14:30 < tfl0pz> hi dudes
14:33 < tfl0pz> any clues what could cause bash/sh to segfault when init tries to start executing the rc scripts on a newly built t2-7-rc2 box (32bit)
14:34 < rxr> nope, is it just a single segfault and does the system boot notheless
14:36 < tfl0pz> it usually it is only one segfault when /sbin/init executes and then the system drops in to some runlevel 'between both worlds'
14:36 < tfl0pz> i can reproduce it by simply typing 'init 2' or 'init 3'
14:36 < tfl0pz> sometimes it segfaults sometimes it doesnt
14:38 < mpp> tfl0pz is it an amd machine ?
14:39 < tfl0pz> nope, intel atom
14:39 < mpp> dunno
14:39 < tfl0pz> i had e similar setup working on such a box, but the build machine got too messy so i set up a new one (virtualbox actually) and the new images have that problem
14:49 < rxr> strange
14:50 < rxr> is it a 64bit build ?
14:53 -!- digitaloktay_ is now known as digitaloktay
15:02 < tfl0pz> nope
15:02 < tfl0pz> all 32
15:05 < rxr> hm
15:06 < rxr> does it still boot up?
15:06 < rxr> or does some vital script segfault the bash ?
15:12 < tfl0pz> it boots the kernel and init cannot start executing the scripts and drops into bash
