09:05 < rxr> koan: cool you use Lua often or want to start with it ?
09:08 < koan> rxr: I'm starting to play with it to customize awesome
09:15 < rxr> I'll awake the G5 to test build it, I use lua-sqlite3 on other (x86) boxes where it built ...
09:34 < CIA-67> rene * r31498 /trunk/package/base/ltrace/ltrace.desc: * updated ltrace (0.5 -> 0.5.1)
09:35 < CIA-67> rene * r31499 /trunk/package/develop/cmake/cmake.desc: * added cmake Url tag
09:43 < rxr> hm - built here
09:43 < rxr> maybe, can you try to rebuild lua with -force and see if lua-sqlite3 builds then?
09:44 < koan> ok
09:44 < koan> and lualib is installed by default?
09:44 < koan> or is it a package I should install (I couldn't find one with that name)
09:44 < rxr> hm - I have no lualib either
09:45 < rxr> should be
09:45 < rxr> lua: usr/lib/liblua.a
09:45 < rxr> lua: usr/lib/liblua.so
09:46 < koan> I'll try again this evening (dual boot is not that convenient...)
09:46 < rxr> yeah
09:50 < koan> btw what is the purpose of the Check-PkgFormat script?
10:02 < rxr> to check newly created packages syntax
10:03 < rxr> like mistyped category, missing tags, etc.
10:11 < koan> I accidentally forgot a checksum sign (so even not 0) yesterday in a new package, and the Check-PkgFormat doesn't check that, would you mind if I add this check?
10:12 < rxr> sure :-)
10:12 < rxr> all patches considered :-)
10:26 < CIA-67> rene * r31501 /trunk/package/emulators/fuse-emulator/fuse-emulator.desc: * updated fuse-emulator (0.10.0 -> 0.10.0.1)
10:26 < CIA-67> rene * r31500 /trunk/package/x11/x11vnc/x11vnc.desc: * updated x11vnc (0.9.5 -> 0.9.6)
10:28 < CIA-67> rene * r31502 /trunk/package/network/wireshark/wireshark.desc: * updated wireshark (1.0.4 -> 1.0.5)

19:21 < d_oilen> hi
19:25 < d_oilen> one question rtai is the Real Time Application Interface and if it is that target is buildable?
19:34 < rxr> I never used it
19:35 < rxr> maybe just try and report back
19:35 < rxr> and/or contact the original patch contributor
19:35 < d_oilen> k
19:36 < d_oilen> because coincidence or not i was thinking of implementing real time in T2
19:36 < d_oilen> second question
19:37 < d_oilen> why 00-dirtree cannot be downloaded in trunk version?
19:37 < rxr> what do you mean?
19:37 < rxr> it has no download content
19:38 < d_oilen> i just checked out the t2 trunk and Download - required said it cannot download 00-dirtree
19:38 < d_oilen> and mkfs
19:39 < d_oilen> no rpob i'll fix them later and report back
19:39 < d_oilen> prob
19:39 < rxr> strange
19:39 < rxr> what system do you build on ?
19:40 < d_oilen> t2-minimal-rc2
19:40 < d_oilen> last installable version
19:40 < rxr> hm - ok
19:41 < d_oilen> sorry i made a mistake it's not mkfs it's mkinitrd
19:41 < d_oilen> second package after 00-dirtree
19:42 < d_oilen> first message is a normal curl error but second i did not seen it untill now. it says Dowload from original URL not recognized
19:48 < d_oilen> there's no developer info about rtai target
19:48 < rxr> at least the svn log should show it
19:48 < rxr> or google t2 rtai
19:48 < rxr> I think dennis
19:49 < rxr> Denis Kulandin: r25271 * set rtai to compile after linux ...
19:50 < d_oilen> tnx
20:36 < d_oilen> bye

22:06 < freeman2411> good evening
22:29 < koan> good evening
22:30 < koan> rxr: the -force option doesn't work
22:31 < koan> do you have any idea what's going wrong? the err file is on http://vervloesem.eu/temp/9-lua-sqlite3.err
22:43 < Chris67> Good evening! Which distribution did you prefer to build an t2 exact desktop? I have an x86 notebook IBM thinkpad T61 and will install a distribution on an external harddisk. Can someone help me. Thanks
22:46 < mpp> best use t2
22:49 < Chris67> @npp Did you mean the t2-7.0-rc2-minimal-i486.iso from ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/t2/stable/7.0-rc2/minimal-i486/ for example?
22:49 < mpp> that should do
22:49 < mpp> allthough you need to upgrade
22:49 < mpp> it
22:50 < mpp> you could use an unofficial i built
22:50 < mpp> http://dl2.t2-project.org/binary/unofficial/
22:50 < mpp> they are somewhat up to date
22:53 < Chris67> @mpp Oh, thanks, i will use the mpp_32_cd1.iso from your download link. After a small install time i will be back with a good feedback. Thanks!
22:54 < mpp> you are welcome
22:59 < koan> rxr: hald dies here because it can't find /usr/bin/udevinfo, but when I make it a symlink to /sbin/udevadm it dies with this error: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/hal/2008-July/012036.html
23:08 -!- wtracy [n=wtracy@natusers1.stennerglenstudents.com] has quit [Remote closed the connection]
23:18 < koan> btw rxr I removed the -llualib in the Makefile of lua-sqlite3 and it builds and I can even use the lua sqlite3 binding in a script, so it seems to work then
