08:46 < mtr> moin
09:08 < mtr> rxr: what is the right way to rename a package and keep the svn history?
09:08 < mtr> rxr: svn move old new
09:09 < mtr> rxr: but what about the .desc file? can I just rn it and still keep the historyß?
09:10 < mtr> *history
09:12 < mtr> rxr, valentin: the tfh server is offline again ...
09:16 < CIA-13> mtr * r27331 /trunk/package/filesystem/squashfs-tools/hotfix-sched_h.patch:
09:16 < CIA-13> * added squashfs-tools patch to fix kernel build, include file missing
09:16 < CIA-13> (fix is in squashfs cvs already)
09:48 -!- Ragnar|away is now known as Ragnarin
10:37 < rxr> moin
10:37 < rxr> mtr: yes I know about the tfh server
10:37 < rxr> mtr: they informed us yesterday that they will/have/whatver cut the power of the xmas days !?!?!?!?!?!
10:37 < rxr> this is soooo annoying ...
10:38 < rxr> mtr: regarding the package rename, IIRC it only works when you first rename the single files in the package dir
10:38 < rxr> and then rename the directory with svn mv with the --force argument
10:38 < rxr> otherwise svn mv will complain about working copy modifications
10:39 < rxr> I think in that order it atomic T2 package rename worked
10:39 < mtr> ok, thanks
10:42 < rxr> regarding mirrors
10:42 < rxr> I already asked ibiblio and they answered basically, sure no problem
10:43 < rxr> I guess it's about the right time to move to a worldwide third pary mirror infrastructure :_)
11:11 < CIA-13> mtr * r27332 /trunk/package/editors/bless/ (bless.desc mkinstalldir.patch): * updated bless (0.5.0beta1 -> 0.5.2)
11:38 < mtr> so, I first svn move'ed the pkg files, then svn move'ed --force the package folder
11:39 < mtr> now I'll commit the openoffice-org -> go-openoffice-org rename ...
11:39 < rxr> sounds fine
11:41 < CIA-13> mtr * r27333 /trunk/package/office/ (8 files in 2 dirs):
11:41 < CIA-13> * renamed openoffice-org to go-openoffice-org
11:41 < CIA-13> (as the build is based on the go-oo.org packages)
11:45 < CIA-13> rene * r27334 /trunk/package/security/gnupg/gnupg.desc: * updated gnupg (1.4.7 -> 1.4.8)

12:34 -!- netson [n=kvirc@202.153.241.206] has quit ["KVIrc 3.2.6 Anomalies http://www.kvirc.net/"]

12:58 < CIA-13> installation, as that part failed due absense of those files

14:00 < rxr> so - susan walked into the uni and just switched the router and our server on again
14:00 < rxr> damn morons did even double powered-off those boxes
14:00 < rxr> switched the hardware power switch and remove the power cord ??!?!?!
14:01 < rxr> and we asked the the uni folks and they told us (nearly qote): "We only encouranged to switch off regular electric devices, such as coffee machines, water cookers or dish cleaners, neither will we toggle the power nor where server intended to be shut down."
