09:17 < rxr> re
09:17 < rxr> moin
09:20 < rxr> kensai: when you do not get immediate answers it just means noone is around in the channel (that is asleep or away ...)
09:20 < rxr> kensai: in a 6.0 tree you svn up the branches/6.0 as usual and if you want to update your running system Emerge-Pkg -system
09:31 < rxr> Baldzius: btw. our update tracker was improved recently
09:32 < rxr> it now honors the CV-URL tag and thus is able to notice more updates
09:32 < Baldzius> hi rxr
09:32 < Baldzius> ic
09:50 < CIA-9> rene * r20259 /trunk/package/base/device-mapper/device-mapper.desc: * updated device-mapper (1.02.10 -> 1.02.12)
09:50 < CIA-9> rene * r20260 /trunk/package/base/dmraid/dmraid.desc: * updated dmraid (1.0.0.rc11 -> 1.0.0.rc13)
09:50 < CIA-9> rene * r20261 /trunk/package/x11/xterm/xterm.desc: * updated xterm (221 -> 222)
10:12 < CIA-9> rene * r20262 /trunk/package/develop/git/git.desc: * updated git (1.4.2.3 -> 1.4.2.4)
10:21 < CIA-9> rene * r20263 /branches/6.0/package/x11/ (cairo/cairo.conf cairo/cairo.desc glitz/glitz.desc):
10:21 < CIA-9> * merged 18334 and 18335 from trunk:
10:21 < CIA-9> * updated cairo (1.0.4 -> 1.2.0)
10:21 < CIA-9> * updated glitz (0.4.4 -> 0.5.6)
10:21 < CIA-9> * fixes xserver to actually build
10:37 < rxr> Baldzius: we tarked 6.0.1 "From Zero to One" for October the 30th with minimal targets published this time - what do you think ?
10:39 < Baldzius> rxr: ok for me, and what's the deadline - 27'th?
10:39 < rxr> yes
10:40 < rxr> my suggestion was to build different prebuild ISOs for each minior release to get a wide variety of tested ISOs online
10:40 < rxr> e.g. people that installed the full desktop 6.0.0 release can easily update from source using Emerge -system
10:40 < rxr> but building all the target for each release is a) just too time consuming and b) a lot of space on the servers
10:41 < rxr> I think targetting a different prebuilt ISO kind on each minor release is a quite good solution
11:16 < kensai> rxr, yeah I know, I get deperate sometimes though :D, but I appreciate your interest, Thanks a lot. ;)
11:19 < rxr> _Ragnar_: I'm testing bash plus the official 001 patch for the `` breakage on the reference builder
11:20 < rxr> somehow I have the feeling there is more screwed up in the new bash - so better test it more before we throw it into trunk the next time

12:07 < trb7> hi rxr :)
12:07 * trb7 burned out
12:07 < trb7> lots of work with the dangerdeep 0.2 release
12:07 < trb7> :)
12:08 < trb7> i'll be here more often now, the release frenzy consumed all my time
12:10 < rxr> :-)

12:11 < trb7> i made a test t2 package, but i'm trying to figure out why it sig11's as non-root
12:11 < trb7> when you run it
12:12 < trb7> there are no longer hardcoded paths, you can pass the path via scons
12:12 < trb7> btw, i mailed Graeme Gill, argyllcms's developer
12:12 < trb7> there is a collision between argyllcms and glibc, the binary in question is sprofile
12:13 < trb7> i basically just asked him if he saw any reason as to why (argyllcms) sprofile shouldn't be renamed, or the entire package sent to its own directory, seems everything is ok, so i would rename argyll's sprofile, to sprofile_icc
12:13 < trb7> or sprofile_argyll
12:13 < trb7> he also mentioned that littlecms also had some problems
12:13 < trb7> icclink for instance
12:14 < trb7> collision with ICC
12:14 < trb7> lcms's icclink is made to link device profiles
