11:26 < karasz> hmmm
11:26 < karasz> today is just rant day
11:28 < karasz> I allways hated double standards, but now it is more obvious that ever.
11:29 < karasz> there is no official number (swmi official say 1 million) but the number of romanian workers abroad can be estimated at around 2 million people.
11:30 < karasz> some of them work officially some of them on the black market.
11:30 < karasz> they pick strawberries, build houses and do other jobs like those.
11:30 < karasz> this is pre-EU adderation.
11:31 < karasz> and quasi represents a rough 10% of the popilation, not the working population, but the whole population.
11:32 < karasz> now the rant.
11:33 < karasz> i wonder why, in this conditions, 7 month before romania _will_ be in EU there are already discussions about how to not let newly becommed eu citizens work anywhere in eu?
11:34 < karasz> i mean c'mon... already 25% of the working population works there, how many more can come?
11:34 < karasz> but that is not the issue. The real issue is double standarding the EU.
11:35 < karasz> inho this is very dangerous and submines the principle of building eu alltogheter.
11:36 < karasz> and btw, double standards does not affect only romania, if this was the case it wouldn't bear signifiance
11:36 < karasz> but countries that are allready full members of the eu suffer from this kind of discrimination. Hungary for one e.g.
11:37 < karasz> full member of the eu, but there are treaties that prevent hungarians work abroad at least for a time.
11:38 < karasz> strange thing is that these treaties were signed some time after hungary became member, in the conditions that almost no hungarian filled the papers to work abroad in the time frame when this was permited, so i wonder who thiis treaty will serv? o_O
11:39 < karasz> second rant of the day:
11:39 < karasz> C'mon guys please, preatty please let die this bird-flu hysteria once and for all, will you?
11:40 < karasz> the above statement was ment for the romanian governement
11:40 < karasz> although i really doubt that they read #T2 :-(
11:40 < karasz> ranting being done, thx for your patience.
11:43 < rxr> re
11:44 < rxr> hi karasz
11:44 < rxr> #t2 the pule of the EU^Wworld ,-?
11:47 < CIA-7> rene * r17478 /trunk/package/emulators/wine/wine.desc:
11:47 < CIA-7> * remove powerpc from support arch list of wine, the new debugger
11:47 < CIA-7> stuff does only support x86 right now
11:49 < karasz> re-hello rxr
11:56 < rxr> s/pule/pulse/
11:56 < rxr> hi karasz
12:14 < karasz> no rxr #T2 is not the pulse of EU world, it is just my habbit to rant here on daily bases, and since nobody complained about it till now it is kinda becomming a daily habbit
12:15 < karasz> obviously it will stop at the first complain against it.
12:17 < karasz> so rxr, if you think that this has no place here please say so and i will stop it.
12:25 < rxr> nope it is nice to hear storries from the different places of the world
12:27 < CIA-7> rene * r17479 /trunk/package/ (3 files in 3 dirs): * fixed the mozilla packages to build on powerpc64, though they might not yet start - yet
12:41 < rxr> huh, yet another new type of error:
12:41 < rxr> Not enough room for program headers (allocated 8, n
12:41 < rxr> eed 9)

16:07 < CIA-7> rene * r17482 /trunk/target/desktop/config.in: * removed emacs from the desktop target, the xemacs are enough to have on-board
16:40 < CIA-7> rene * r17483 /trunk/package/audio/rezound/rezound.desc:
16:40 < CIA-7> * removed the libtoolize step from the patched rezound package,
16:40 < CIA-7> otherwise it fails on libdir != lib architectures
17:01 < CIA-7> rene * r17484 /trunk/package/develop/openjade/openjade.conf:
17:01 < CIA-7> * explicitly specify the opensp libdir in openjade, otherwise the
17:01 < CIA-7> openjade configure script sometimes incorrectly falls back to lib64
17:15 < CIA-7> rene * r17485 /trunk/package/base/numactl/numactl.conf:
17:15 < CIA-7> * fixed numactl by explicitly overwriting it's libdir since it is
17:15 < CIA-7> crafted out of uname
17:22 < LMJ> nice
17:22 < LMJ> openjade updated ;)
17:24 < rxr> nope
17:24 < rxr> only fixed for building 32bit packages on 64bit hosts
17:24 < LMJ> yes
17:24 < rxr> but "not updated" ,-)
17:25 < LMJ> this thing killed me

21:09 < blenderlehrling> hello
21:09 < karasz> hi blenderlehrling
21:10 < blenderlehrling> what do i need for programming in a linux project like t2
21:10 < blenderlehrling> c++?
21:11 < morfoh> blenderlehrling: i think you can start even without programming experience ;)
21:11 < karasz> oh, kommrad is still alive ;)
21:12 < morfoh> hey tavarish :)
21:13 < karasz> guten abend kommrad ;)
21:13 < morfoh> guten abend tavarish karasz :)
21:14 < morfoh> how is it ? :)
21:14 < blenderlehrling> how i can programming in a linux project when i cant programming
21:14 < karasz> full of indians running around seeking wigwams...
21:15 < karasz> blenderlehrling: magic of T2 ;)
21:15 < morfoh> this is not a "real" linux project per se ... we just use the kernel called linux
21:15 < karasz> but knowing bash never hurts...
21:15 < morfoh> but T2 is theoritcally not bound to that
21:15 < blenderlehrling> i know but im still intrested in this
21:16 < morfoh> blenderlehrling: yeah ... I don't want to send you to hell :)
21:16 < morfoh> try to use T2 and you'll see and you can allways ask here ;)
21:17 < blenderlehrling> ive allreday user T2
21:17 < morfoh> have you ever beebn here ?
21:18 < blenderlehrling> yes a long time ago
21:19 * karasz der verrückte Rumäne jagt Apaches um das wigwam
21:19 < blenderlehrling> i know of course that u dont programm the kernel and the other things
21:20 < blenderlehrling> but u but this all together and i think that u must programm this making all togher and i want to know how u do it
21:21 < blenderlehrling> do u understand me?
21:23 < morfoh> blenderlehrling: now that you explained it explicitely
21:29 < karasz> blenderlehrling: basicaly bash will suffice
21:29 < karasz> you can look around the scripts and you will get the picture
21:30 < karasz> other than bash you will eventually need C or perl or whatever the package you want to patch(if patch needed!) uses.
