00:01 < rxr> == 04/25/05 00:01:16 =[1]=> Finished building package linux26.
00:02 < mnemoc> :)
00:03 < rxr> Committed revision 8511.
00:03 < mnemoc> rxr: btw, http://t2.geeks.cl/mirror/2.2.0-alpha/ http://www.geeks.cl/t2-mirror/2.2.0-alpha/
00:03 < rxr> hm
00:04 < rxr> Committed revision 8512.
00:04 < jeru> mnemoc: what do you think ?
00:04 < mnemoc> jeru: about what?
00:05 < jeru> regarding by hand migration
00:05 < mnemoc> jeru: that you are doing it
00:05 < jeru> mnemoc: what was your way ?
00:06 < jeru> regarding folder migration
00:06 < mnemoc> jeru: i thought you had an script
00:06 < jeru> nope ...
00:07 < jeru> we've to write one
00:07 < jeru> but it doesn't matter anyway
00:07 < jeru> atm at least ;)
00:07 < jeru> valentin: /docs is open again
00:08 < mnemoc> jeru: remove the evil contenttypes, so you don't have to migrate anymore :)
00:09 < jeru> ack :D
00:09 < rxr> mnemoc: you merge the todays fixes into 2.1 =
00:09 < rxr> ? even
00:09 < mnemoc> rxr: yes, i'm testing them
00:09 < mnemoc> after 1-linux26 i'll commit the 3 merges
00:10 < mnemoc> rxr: only issue #4 is pending :)
00:13 < mnemoc> jeru: will you remove "* (old)" when finished?
00:13 < jeru> yep
00:15 < rxr> mnemoc: #4 is harder to solve
00:17 -!- ojh [~omer@71-34-253-106.eugn.qwest.net] has left #t2 []
00:19 < mnemoc> rxr: do we need uml_tools on bootdisk?
00:21 < rxr> no
00:23 < jeru> mnemoc: should be done now
00:23 < rxr> mnemoc: btw. we have a strange new ghostscript error
00:23 < rxr> I have the same in my desktop buidl ...
00:23 < rxr> but /me bed now
00:23 < rxr> n8 all
00:23 < valentin> gn8 rxr
00:23 < jeru> night rxr
00:24 < valentin> jeru: how can i insert a bitmap ?
00:24 < mnemoc> rxr: it may be due to pdf_sec
00:24 < mnemoc> rxr: we have always download it, but never injected before
00:24 < jeru> valentin: content type ?
00:24 < mnemoc> i think he mean 'inline'
00:25 < rxr> mnemoc: who commited this untested ?
00:26 < rxr> r8429 | amery | 2005-04-22 06:17:08 +0200 (Fri, 22 Apr 2005) | 4 lines
00:26 < rxr> but I somehow doubt it is that
00:26 < rxr> well I'll see later
00:26 < rxr> cu all
00:27 < jeru> cu
00:27 < valentin> cu
00:27 < valentin> jeru: i want this screenshot in there:
00:27 < valentin> http://www.t2-project.org/config.png
00:28 < jeru> valentin: ok
00:28 < jeru> .. image:: images/config.png
00:29 < valentin> good - how can i upload the image ?
00:29 < mnemoc> rxr: i did
00:30 < jeru> valentin: it's not very good to fill the zope db with binary stuff like images
00:30 < jeru> I've to create an external storage type for it
00:30 -!- veki [~chatzilla@217.24.19.40] has joined #t2
00:30 < jeru> then it will be stored on the filesystem
00:32 < valentin> ok, so i refer to the current location
00:32 < valentin> but it does not work
00:32 < valentin> mom
00:32 < jeru> do we wanna add a section documentation/screenshots as external storage ?
00:32 < valentin> ok
00:32 < jeru> valentin: works ?
00:32 < valentin> yep
00:33 < valentin> hm, i would prefer a generic /images storage
00:33 < jeru> valentin: ok
00:34 < valentin> damn, the bitmap is some pixels too large
00:35 < valentin> https://www2.t2-project.org/docs/quickstart
00:36 < jeru> valentin: but looks nice :)
00:37 < valentin> thx

00:44 < mnemoc> jeru: where are the flags?
00:46 < valentin> enough for today - gn8
00:46 < jeru> g8 valentin
00:46 < jeru> mnemoc: what flags ?
00:47 < jeru> registration ?
00:48 < mnemoc> jeru: country flags
00:49 < jeru> do you want to replace the flags ?
00:50 < mnemoc> i don't see the flags
00:51 < mnemoc> oh, there they are
00:51 < jeru> on every page ?
00:52 < mnemoc> /tree doesn't have flag
00:52 < mnemoc> i'll add content and translate to see
00:53 < jeru> mnemoc: same problem with folder
00:53 < mnemoc> uhm
00:53 < jeru> that was what I meaned
00:54 < jeru> folde-lang style sucks
00:54 < mnemoc> yes
00:54 < mnemoc> navigation porudct should detect it and skip
00:55 < jeru> we could use extendednavigation product
00:55 < mnemoc> try it
00:55 < jeru> there we can enable/disable it
00:59 < jeru> removed i18nfolder too
01:02 < mnemoc> we want $foo-$lang instead of $foo is we choosed $lang, and $foo-$lang only if we choosed $lang. or $foo if $foo-$lang for the choosen $lang doesn't exist
01:02 < mnemoc> is this to exotic?
01:04 < jeru> mnemoc: will add a second nav slot temporary
01:05 < mnemoc> follow your insticts
01:05 < jeru> mnemoc: I do ... but I want to inform you ;)
01:05 < mnemoc> :)
01:08 < mnemoc> jeru: it would be great if we can write a product for package matrix :)
01:10 < jeru> PloneExtendedNavigation is compatible with LinguaPlone;
01:10 < jeru> ^from the readme at least
01:12 < mnemoc> :D

09:27 < valentin> example ?
09:29 < valentin> we should be that: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/58939
09:33 < rxr> we made the former nameserver and such keywords work per interface, but forward and auto must be in the global section

14:09 < jeru> we've some problems regarding i18n support. We've now a solution which works, but major portlets (boxes) like the tracker menus doesn't seem to work out of the box. What should we do? disabling i18n and reschedule the translation work ?
14:09 < rxr> jeru: no idea
14:10 < rxr> I'm not in plone ...
14:10 < rxr> I guess migration from one i18n thing to another is a lot of work

14:12 < valentin> jeru: i am still a bit sceptical with the i18n - i fear the different translations will become inconsistent one day ...

14:12 < rxr> acceptable IMHO

14:14 < rxr> GCC 4.0 also introduces a security feature called Mudflap, which adds extra features to the compiled program that check for a class of vulnerabilities called buffer overruns,
14:14 < rxr> huh?

14:15 < jeru> as I said I will try some things regarding i18n. Perhaps we can make a decission this evening.
14:16 < rxr> grep -ri Mudflap * yields occurances ...
14:16 < rxr> ./tree-nomudflap.c
14:16 < rxr> ./tree-mudflap.c
14:16 < rxr> ./tree-mudflap.h
14:16 < rxr> Mudflap: narrow-pointer bounds-checking by tree rewriting.
14:16 < rxr> aha
14:18 < rxr> Memory reference transforms. Perform the mudflap indirection-related tree transforms on the current function.
14:18 < rxr> This is the second part of the mudflap instrumentation. It works on low-level GIMPLE using the CFG, because we want to run this pass after tree optimizations have been performed, but we have to preserve the CFG for expansion from trees to RTL.
14:19 < rxr> For the mudflap1 pass, this implies
14:19 < rxr> that it should be registered with the libmudflap runtime. For the
14:19 < rxr> mudflap2 pass this means instrumenting an indirection operation with
14:19 < rxr> respect to the object.

17:14 < rxr> so the results are directly comparable ...
17:14 < rxr> some loops processing arrays, in multiple quantities that are vector friendly ...
17:14 < rxr> like video or 3d data ...
17:14 < rxr> however I wonder why only 2 of my 8 or so loops are vectorized
17:15 < rxr> according to the spare gcc info all should have been ...
17:15 < rxr> of course the times above are only for running those vectorized loops ...
