00:01 < rxr> hm - strange a cross-compiled bash for sparc64 (compiled on sparc (32) ) has some problems or better called bugs
00:01 < rxr> the one rebuilt in stage3 does not show those bugs ... ?!?!?
00:01 < rxr> hm - maybe some archtest.* typo or so ... :-(
00:07 < rxr> re
00:17 < rxr> first tiny benchmark result
00:18 < rxr> compiling bash (3.0) with gcc-3.4.2 is 13% fastern then compiling the same bash with gcc-3.2.3 for sparc(32)
00:19 < rxr> interesting
00:20 < rxr> w/ some change in T2 all the xemacs-beta xft errors and warnings about corrupted font stuff are gone ;-)
00:21 < rxr> maybe mostly due to x.org ....
00:21 < rxr> at least it is very nice - leaves my terminals cleaner ...
00:21 < rxr> alas, T2 progress is very good - much better then planed and scheduled ....
00:22 < rxr> especially I did not expected a sparc64 gcc-3.4.x glibc:HEAD that quickly ...
01:29 * rxr suspending myself - cu after the sleep cycle ;-)
