Sun SPARCstation IPX and T2/Linux

SPARC IPX

The Sun SPARCstation IPX was for the most part a cost-down and more integrated SPARCstation 2 with Sun CGX on the main logic board and (therefore) one less SBUS slot. The max supported memory apparently was 64 MB, less than the theoretical maximum of the SPARCstation 2. Another difference is the Weitek CPU with the integrated FPU. However, it has less hardware MMU context.

Notes

Support for this sparc32/sun4c architecture was removed in Linux kernel 3.5.
